Artificial Intelligence Intern

About the role

A hands-on internship in applied AI. You will work with our data science team on real features for clients, from the first experiment to something that runs in production.

What you will do

• Explore data and build baseline models for real business problems
• Test ideas against an agreed evaluation set and write up what you find
• Help turn working experiments into code the engineering team can ship
• Present your results to the team at the end of each sprint

What we are looking for

• Currently studying computer science, data science, engineering or a related subject, or graduated in the last year
• Solid Python and a first course or project in machine learning
• Curiosity about why a model works, not only whether it does

Nice to have

• A project, thesis or open-source contribution you can walk us through
• Some experience with PyTorch, scikit-learn or Hugging Face

Where and how

Houston, London or remote, with a daily overlap with the team in Houston or London. Internships run for an agreed period, usually alongside a live client or internal project, and start dates are flexible.
