Human-Centered AI Intern

About the role

An internship on how people work with AI features: assistants, suggestions and agents, and how to make them trustworthy, easy to correct and honest about what they do not know.

What you will do

• Test AI assistants and agents with real users and record where they struggle
• Prototype better ways to show sources, confidence and approvals
• Help build evaluation sets from real questions and tasks
• Share findings with our designers and engineers

What we are looking for

• Currently studying computer science, data science, engineering or a related subject, or graduated in the last year
• Interest in both language models and user experience
• Python or JavaScript, and good written English

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM APIs or retrieval-augmented generation
• Any usability testing or research experience

Where and how

Houston, London or remote, with a daily overlap with the team in Houston or London. Internships run for an agreed period, usually alongside a live client or internal project, and start dates are flexible.
