Adaptive User Experience Intern

About the role

An internship at the meeting point of product design and machine learning: interfaces that adapt to how each person uses them, such as personalization, recommendations and accessibility settings.

What you will do

• Analyze how people use a product and find where it could adapt to them
• Build and test small personalization and recommendation features
• Run simple A/B tests and read the results honestly
• Work with our designers so adaptive features stay understandable

What we are looking for

• Currently studying computer science, data science, engineering or a related subject, or graduated in the last year
• Python or JavaScript, and an interest in both people and data
• An introduction to statistics or machine learning

Nice to have

• Experience with React or Flutter
• Any user research or usability testing experience

Where and how

Houston, London or remote, with a daily overlap with the team in Houston or London. Internships run for an agreed period, usually alongside a live client or internal project, and start dates are flexible.
