The solution

Pylogix collaborated closely with TomboyX and their development team to revamp the user-experience and optimize the website for conversions and brand exploration. We adopted a customer-centric approach using wireframes, user-testing, analytics, and design to create a truly inclusive and engaging online shopping experience.


We also implemented upsells and cross-sells to boost average order value and offered free shipping incentives. However, we ensured that these elements seamlessly blended with the brand’s unique elements and colors, without appearing intrusive.


With the use of Shopify Plus, we successfully launched a completely reimagined shopping experience that was both intuitive and accessible for all customers, regardless of size or gender.

User-Centered UX Design at Pylogix

ylogix prioritizes user-centered design in all of its projects, including the creation of prototypes and user testing. For a recent project, we used Sketch and Invision to create prototypes and based off of user testing results, we refined and optimized the user experience to ensure the site was easy to navigate and use for all users.

Customizable Homepage Design for Enhanced Branding

At Pylogix, we understand the importance of creating a customized user experience for brands to showcase their unique identity. When we partnered with TomboyX, a direct-to-consumer underwear brand, we created a modular content type for the homepage, allowing them to showcase their merchandising, call-to-actions, and branded content in a dynamic way. The entire homepage was designed to be easily customizable based on current campaigns, ensuring the brand’s message was always up-to-date and relevant to their audience.

Customer Engagement Boosted with Loyalty, Reviews & UGC

Pylogix helped TomboyX incorporate Yotpo, a powerful customer engagement tool, to boost customer loyalty and increase user-generated content (UGC) throughout the site. We also incorporated customer reviews on product pages, providing shoppers with valuable insights and social proof to inform their purchasing decisions. The brand’s loyalty program received an overhaul as well, providing customers with even more incentives to keep coming back.

Pylogix Creates High-Converting PDPs for TomboyX

Pylogix worked closely with TomboyX to optimize their product detail pages (PDPs) on Shopify Plus for maximum conversions. Our team implemented a sticky side-bar that keeps product variants, descriptions, and add-to-cart buttons in view at all times. We also included below-the-fold content and user-generated content from Instagram to assist with buying decisions. The result is a PDP that not only looks great but also drives sales.

Customized Collection Pages for Enhanced Customer Experience

Pylogix created custom iconography to help customers easily navigate and find products in the TomboyX collections. By incorporating user-generated content throughout the collection pages, we were able to provide social proof and build trust with customers, ultimately leading to increased conversions.
